BIRMINGHAM, AL — The Great Christmas Project today announced the launch of Artists for Santa, a movement inviting artists, illustrators, athletes, authors, and creators to each donate one original work of art. Donated artwork is transformed into Christmas cards, prints, ornaments, and gifts, with proceeds funding free toys, books, and Christmas experiences for children in need.
The initiative was founded in loving memory of Eric Hasenyager, whose Santa-like beard and lifelong love of giving inspired the project's mission: Every Child Deserves Christmas. The organization is now recruiting its first 100 "Founding Artists of Santa," who will be featured on the Artists of Santa wall with credit on every product produced from their work.
